167th Scout Group Policies

Privacy Policy

The 167th Scout Group has a policy to cover how we handle your data and privacy. Parents must be satisfied that they are content with this before they give us any personal information about their cub or themselves.

Risk Assessment

As is required, we assess the risks associated with all our work. The Scout Association requires that the Risk Assessment of significant risks are recorded. We use OSM’s functionality to record our Risk Assessment. If you would like to hear about our Risk Assessments or see a copy, please get in touch with the appropriate section leaders.

Inclusion

The 167th Scout Group is committed to encouraging and promoting diversity and inclusion in our services to Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, opportunities for Young Leaders and Adult Volunteers. This reflects our values of respect, belief, care, cooperation and integrity, where everyone should be treated with dignity at all time. We will take every possible step to tackle all forms of discrimination, inequality, and unfair treatment, whether it’s intentional or unintentional, direct or indirect. The 167th Scout Group is committed to making sure that all volunteers and young people have equal access to opportunities and to removing all barriers to inclusion in the activities of the group.
